Noël #8 - Xmas #8

Les traditions culinaires ont souvent une place importante dans les célébrations. Jusqu'à présent, chez nous à part le jour de pâtisserie, il n'y a rien de vraiment spécial autour de Noël... Cette année j'ai essayé d'instaurer de nouvelles traditions, qui nous serons propres et qui nous accompagnerons dans l'attente de Noël. Quelques douceurs de chez Ladurée et un Pandoro venu tout droit d'Italie. Fabrication artisanale familiale, il va être dévoré le dernier weekend de l'Avent... Et puis comme il y a des gourmands dans la famille, j'en ai profité pour choisir deux gêteaux qui seront eux offerts (à la même personne!!)
5 jours avant Noël, j'attends la livraison du dernier paquet... Je suis presque sereine et ça c'est nouveau. Dimanche nous allons rendre visite à de la famille qui habite un peu loin et nous emmènerons un peu de Noël avec nous. 

Culinary traditions are often a big part of celebrations. Until now, here, except the baking day, there was nothing really special around Xmas... This year, I decided to try to bring in new traditions. They will by our own and will get along with us in the waiting of Xmas. Some treats from Ladurée and a Pandoro coming directly from Italy. "Homemade" by a family it will de devoured the last Advent weekend... And as we have gourmand in the family, I took two more cakes that will be gifts (for the same person!!)
5 days before Xmas I am waiting for the last parcel to be delivred... I am nearly serene and that's new. Sunday, we will be visiting family who is living a bit far and we will bring with us a bit of Xmas.
