Le coeur de la maison - The heart of the home

 J'aime beaucoup la déco et j'adore feuilleter les magazines de déco... Ma meilleure amie là-bas aussi... On discute souvent de ce sujet toutes les deux... Aussi je savais, lorsqu'ils ont commencé la rénovation de leur maison, que le résultat serait époustouflant... Il y a deux choses qu'elle avait toujours voulu dans sa maison: une échelle de bibliothèque et une porte Hollandaise. Nous partageons aussi la même opinion que la cuisine est, bien souvent, le coeur d'une maison. Aussi c'est naturellement qu'elle a intégré ces deux éléments dans sa cuisine. Une pièce superbe, où il y a aussi, non photographié, un canapé et un fauteuil pour compléter l'atmosphère chaleureuse de cette pièce. Vous noterez le sol en bois pour réchauffer le comptoir en marbre et le bar à café près de la porte Hollandaise. Et puis j'ai été soigné aux petits oignons avec des petits déj' beaux et bons et un super Carrot Cake encore une fois beau et bon... Dire que c'est déjà loin tout ça...

 I love interior decoration and I love browsing interior decoration magazines... My best friend over there too... We often discuss about this topic... So, when they started renovating their house, I knew that the result would be breathtaking... There were two things she always has wanted in a home: a library ladder and a Dutch door. We share the same point of view that the kitchen is, quite often, the heart of a home. So it was naturally that she integrated those two elements in  her kitchen. A wonderful room, where there is also, not pictured, a sofa and an armchair to add to the warm atmosphere. You will notice the wooden floor to contrast with the marble counter top and the coffee bar nest to the Dutch door. And I was very well taken care of with beautiful and tasty breakfast and a wonderful Carrot Cake also beautiful and tasty... It is already some time ago all this...

Wow! Breathtakingly beautiful and I love the library ladder in the kitchen. I agree with you that often the kitchen is the heart of the home and where everyone congregates. This one has such a warm feel to it. Great photos!!
